Hey, I’m Nicky Mac a UK-based surreal fine artist creating dreamlike, symbolic, figurative portraiture that mirrors the inner world. My work explores resilience, transformation, self-expression, and quiet power, visual poems that invite you to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you’ve forgotten or longed to express.

I currently paint across two imaginative worlds: The “Visionary” collection captures my dreamy, introspective side; vibrant, textured portraits where human and spirit animals merge as one. Each piece acts as a symbolic guide through change, loss, and  transformation, exploring the balance between the seen and unseen. The “Majestic Animal” collection is where the mythical and playful take flight; bold, characterful animal portraits that channel joy, emotion, and a touch of regal British charm.

I work in both digital and traditional mediums, layering acrylics, oils, and expressive mark-making to bring depth, movement, and feeling into each piece. I’m always chasing a mood, something heartfelt, a little offbeat, and full of wonder.
