Nicky Mac is a contemporary artist creating soulful, symbolic works inspired by animals, birds, mythical creatures, folklore and the natural world. Through richly textured mixed-media paintings, she explores instinct, emotion, freedom and the journey of inner transformation.

Alongside her visual art, Nicky creates intuitive, soulful flute music on silver and Native American flute. Inspired by nature and played from feeling rather than a score, her music offers another way to connect with stillness, emotion and freedom. Her musician, alter ego name is The Golden Piper, and she regularly plays out in nature, with her Golden doodle dog by her side.

She has combined all of her art and music under an umbrella company name called Skyborn Art. Through colour, texture and sound, Nicky’s work invites you to pause, reconnect and rediscover the wilder, more courageous parts of yourself. 

Nicky is an award-winning artist who is represented by Euphoric Art Collections in Chester, Adlib Gallery in Wimbledon and Millesime Art in Manchester.
